Condition
To the tureen, there is a repaired crack along one side of the vessel; the crack extends downward from the rim and curves to the right, measuring approximately 6 inches in length. There are possible signs of over painting restorations along the rim of the tureen and underside of the lid; scattered areas fluoresce under UV light, however, it is possible that these may be residual adhesive accretions. To the tureen, there are small to moderate chips and losses, particularly along the underside and extreme edges. Fleabite to small-sized chips along the feet. To the lid, there are fleabite to small-sized chips along the rim; two large chips along the interior rim of the lid. To the undertray, there are no cracks. To the ruffles or scalloped elements near to the rim, there are scattered areas of repair or restoration; these areas fluoresce under UV light. Light wear to the footrim. Light surface wear.
