Along the crest, there are three small areas of inpainting. There is a band of yellowed, residual accretions along the rim of the teapot. There is a linear firing flaw along the base of the spout. There is a possible restoration extending from the footrim to the lower portion of the handle that fluoresces lightly under UV light and corresponds to a linear area of crazing to the glaze. To the holes along the interior where the spout connected to the body of the teapot, there are small cracks. There are small, rounded firing flaws, particularly visible along the interior. There are brown accretions along the interior. There are fleabite chips along the mouth of the spout. There are fleabite to small-sized chips along the footrim. There are losses to the gilt along the mouth of the spout. To the lid, there are signs of restoration to the finial and along the rim. Small losses to the gilt along the tip of the finial and along the rim. There are fleabite to small-sized chips along the interior rim of the lid.
