This captivating vintage round tole tray features a warm, antiqued cream lacquer finish that serves as a canvas for a highly detailed, hand-painted Chinoiserie scene. The central artwork depicts a vibrant gathering of traditional figures in colorful attire, including a seated dignitary beneath a red-roofed pavilion and attendants holding ceremonial banners and horns, all set within a grassy landscape next to a fruiting exotic tree. The tray displays a beautiful and extensive all-over craquelure texture, providing a sought-after antiqued character and a time-worn patina.
