"Into the Light Study" is an oil on panel painting by Jon Doran, completed in 2026.

This small study looks along a beach at low tide. Dark cliffs climb at the left and fade toward a far headland, dark rocks line the edge of the sea, and the wet sand in front picks up the pale light of the sky. Greys, sand tones and umber dominate.

The painting measures 7.87 inches high by 11.81 inches wide. It is framed and ready to hang, and measures 13.66 by 17.6 inches framed. The frame is shown in the photographs.
