Beautiful gold tooled espresso leather round top as well as mahogany wood are beautifully engaged materials featured on this vintage 1950s handsome side table. No makers mark discoverable but similar in style to tables made by W. and J. Sloan Furniture, This much like their own leather top drum tables.. This table top and its sides are finished with a veneer of burled wood. The sophisticated side table features Chippendale style fluted Spider Legs that meet and cross under a chess-piece-like crown wood finial ornamentation. The legs gracefully stand on narrow toes like the wispy feet of a ballerina "en pointe".
