An unusual folk art sphinx sculpture, circa 1920s,

a carved wooden sculpture depicting an Egyptian sphinx and a standing figure on a 'cushion' base, mounted on a moulded plinth

Condition Report:

A round mark at the top of the woman's head, which suggests it might have been a lamp base at some point, varnished, however, probably at the time.
