1970s Victorian Style Solid Wood Rocking Chair With Carved Arms and Floral Cushion

Description

This likely antique Victorian-style rocking chair features a sculpted solid wood frame with flowing curves and a shaped backrest panel. The armrests are delicately carved with scrollwork detailing at the ends, enhancing the chair's traditional aesthetic. The gently contoured seat is topped with a removable floral tapestry cushion in a muted palette of reds, blues, and greens against a cream background.
The base includes curved rockers and a turned cross-stretcher for added stability, while the apron and seat rails display decorative scalloping typical of 19th-century design influences. The chair's warm-toned wood showcases visible grain and age-appropriate wear, consistent with its vintage character.
Cushion is included; listing is for the chair and cushion only.
Vintage condition as pictured.
