A beautifully crafted Antique Chippendale style corner chair featuring an intricately carved crest trail with a striking almost mask like "North Wind" expression version from flowing acanthus and scroll work.
Dates to the early 1900s.

The highly tone wood frame showcases classic Chippendale elements, including pierced slats, gracefully curved arms, and Cabrio legs. The sculptural crest carving is particularly eye catching, it's symmetrical design suddenly forms, a face like motif that gives the chair, a distinctive personality and sense of movement.

The seat is upholstered in a vintage needlepoint style textile type with a floral medallion, adding warmth and traditional character. A wonderful accent piece, perfect for a corner, entryway,or as a decorative statement chair.
