A superb example of early 20th-century American folk art, this pressed copper fish weathervane features an exceptional, naturally aged verdigris patina. The silhouette is elegantly proportioned, capturing the timeless charm of nautical tradition.

Found in an estate along the New Jersey shore, this piece has been paired with a contemporary, custom-made copper display stand. The stand is designed to allow the fish to rotate freely, making it a dynamic sculptural element for a mantel, bookshelf, or console table. Whether placed in a modern coastal home or a traditional farmhouse setting, this weathervane serves as a sophisticated nod to maritime history and artisan craftsmanship.
