Vintage Mother-of-Pearl Serving Spoon w/a Twisted Seashell Handle

Serving spoons crafted from mother-of-pearl were often used fro serving delicate foods like caviar or jellies, as the material would not react with the food's flavor. The twisted seashewell handle adds an additional touch of elegance and uniqueness to the piece.

Such spoons were a common sight in affluent households adding a touch of luxury to formal dining settings.
