This large jar continues a centuries-old tradition of Chinese blue-and-white crackle porcelain ware. Hand-painted with cobalt-blue glaze.
Ancient and rare Chinese ginger jars with lid. They are hand painted in cobalt blue, the simple and rustic designs, the cracks on the bottom due to the iron present in the clay (for this effect it takes centuries for it to occur)
