This piece is made in the Black Dynasty or Siang Noir pattern, a charming floral pattern inspired by Famille Vert Chinese porcelain. The piece has a black ground with wonderfully vibrant green vines and floral decoration, as well as applied three dimensional pink and yellow roses. The lid is likewise decorated with flowering vines and has a finial in the form of a halved lemon, with lemon slices surrounding. Great as a bonbonniere/candy dish, a trinket box, or the like. The underside is signed Herend Hungary Handpainted, 6016 0 03 for the form, SN for the pattern, and J2000, as well as an artist's signature. This piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. This piece measures about 6 by 3 3/8 by 3 1/2 inches, LxWxH.
