An original 1927 Art Deco map of Paris by Ilonka Karasz-the influential designer, illustrator, and modernist known for her New Yorker covers and contributions to American decorative arts. This richly detailed pictorial map is a full-color lithograph, featuring stylized architectural motifs and a theatrical red proscenium-style border, reflecting Karasz's connections to both the Wiener Werkstatte and American design reform.

The map has been mounted to a vintage folding table base, transforming it into a sculptural wall object that merges graphic design, cartographic art, and functional form. This is not a reproduction, but a period-printed lithograph retaining its original surface, with visible wear, edge losses, and patina consistent with age.

A rare and collectible example of early 20th-century design-where modernism intersects with folk and decorative art-this piece is ideal for display as wall art or as part of a larger graphic installation. Karasz's work from this period is uncommon, especially in this scale and format.
