Elegant and graceful pair of wall sconces; the original and solid structure is made of brushed and polished brass; some parts have been baked in black creating a striking contrast, The balanced arrangement of light points allows an excellent and uniform illumination. The shades on the sconces are mounted and made of efined smooth opaline glass in the shape of an inverted cone; opaline is slightly translucent glass, opacified by phosphates, sodium and calcium chlorides with the addition of tin oxides and talc, opaline glass is very dense and opaque very similar to porcelain; opaline proper is a French product that was born at the end of 1700 and the beginning of 1800, The wall sconces were produced by an artisan workshop in France in Arlus (Art and Lustre) style between 1958 and 1961 inspired by the typical design of those years; Maison Arlus was a French lighting manufacturer, very active since the 1950s and close to the modern design movement, had its headquarters and a sales store in Paris, Arlus offered high-quality products. The Minimalist and pure line, the simple and clean design make these sconces chic, refined and versatile objects that can be placed with taste in any environment.
