A dramatic and intricately carved wood panel in the Chinese decorative style, featuring expressive Foo dogs (guardian lions) and mythical beasts in dynamic motion. The design is richly layered with traditional scrollwork and symbolic elements, highlighted in a striking gilt-over-black finish with subtle red undertones.

Beautifully detailed and dimensional, this piece was likely created as a decorative architectural or ceremonial element and has been mounted for wall display. The gilding catches the light with warmth and texture, making it an eye-catching accent for any space.

A distinctive piece for those who appreciate global art, Chinoiserie style, or bold decorative carvings.
