Elegant mid-century Italian serving tray by Ravarini Castoldi of Milan, circa 1950s-1960s. The generously proportioned round tray features a beautifully polished silverplate surface framed by a raised rim and accented with distinctive sculptural natural horn handles, each displaying its own rich organic coloration and grain. The underside bears the recognizable Ravarini Castoldi Milano "RCM 1867" maker's mark. A sophisticated example of Italian mid-century design, this substantial tray is equally striking used for cocktails and entertaining or displayed as a decorative object on a bar, coffee table, or ottoman.
