A small mercury glass vase, dating to the late 19th century.

Of classical baluster form with a spreading foot and flared rim, the vase is internally silvered in the traditional manner. The silvering has naturally oxidised over time, giving an attractive speckled and mottled surface effect characteristic of old mercury glass.

Measures 11 cm high and 5 cm diameter.
