Attilio Pratella (Italian, 1856-1949). Oil on board coastal scene painting. Depicting a cluster of traditional Italian fishing boats resting on calm, reflective waters as a low sun bathes the scene in warm, atmospheric light. Signed along the lower right.

Condition
There are no cracks or major losses. Some small losses to the pigment along the lower third. Evidence of inpainting under UV light inspection along the lower third. The varnish is toned. There is craquelure, particularly along the upper third. Light wear to the frame. Verso not inspected. Work not inspected out of frame.
