Hand-blown Murano art glass vase featuring a classic amphora form with applied cobalt blue scroll handles.

The surface exhibits a scavo-style textured finish layered over an iridescent opaline ground, producing a softly weathered, archaeological appearance with subtle rainbow tonality when viewed in natural light and partially opaque.

The scavo effect-intentionally etched and pitted-creates an aged, tactile surface reminiscent of ancient Roman glass, a technique revived and popularized by Murano workshops in the mid-20th century. Retains original Murano foil labelaffixed over the lintel.
