A substantial pair of wall brackets tessellated in pen shell and brass trim over solid wood. Lighter pen shell creates a faux tortoise-like finish. Recessed brass hardware for hanging. Clawfoot detail. A rare pair that make a grand impression.
Pen shells are gray to brown in color with an iridescent sheen. They are found washed ashore and collected for decorative purposes, often in jewelry. Pen shell is a natural, renewable luxury material.
