This elegant vintage rectangular tray features a deep, dark green lacquer finish and a refined gold-painted rim that beautifully captures a classic Chinoiserie aesthetic. The center is adorned with a detailed hand-painted scene depicting a traditional Asian festival, featuring figures in patterned Japanese-style robes and headbands celebrating beneath the delicate branches of a flowering plum tree. The artwork is expertly rendered in a rich palette of gold, yellow, and white enamels, showcasing a ceremonial standard topped with a decorative swirl motif and stylized cloud effects.
