A beautifully preserved Korean bandaji chest, crafted from rich elmwood and adorned with intricate brass hardware throughout. This traditional fall-front chest features a striking arrangement of floral and symbolic brass motifs, including its original fish-form lock plate and key, a detail historically associated with prosperity and protection.

The warm tone of the elmwood is complemented by the aged patina of the brass, creating a piece that feels both grounded and refined. The chest opens from the front panel, offering functional storage while maintaining its sculptural presence. Raised on four legs, it has a balanced, architectural stance that works well in both traditional and modern interiors.

A timeless example of Korean craftsmanship, ideal as a statement storage piece, side cabinet, or entryway accent.
