This is simply one cool sofa. It boasts a Danish art deco design and is upholstered in a wavy diamond mohair/velour type fabric with a tufted back and imposing arms. The banana shape really makes the piece. An unusual and rather unique piece of furniture.

The piece is, as northern European/Danish deco era pieces were, simply finished on the back. Seating pieces such as this were mean to be placed against a wall and the backs were not finished with the thematic fabric visible on the front. It should be noted that the sofa is VERY solidly made. Circa 1940's/1950's.
