20th Century "Cityscape with Water" Louis XV Oil on Panel

Description

A 20th century oil on panel from France. Presented in its original frame, the piece retains the texture and tonal depth of the original composition. The Louis XV style, defined by curving lines and naturalistic ornament, emerged in France during the mid-18th century as a reaction against the rigid symmetry of the preceding Baroque period. A compelling addition to a gallery wall or as a focal point.
