Maison Regain Modern Armchairs, a Pair, 1960s

Description

A pair of lounge chairs by Maison Regain, crafted in solid wood with newly upholstered cushions. Each chair is defined by its low, grounded proportions and robust, sculptural frame, featuring a gently reclined backrest with a broad, curved headrest.

Exposed joinery and thick, rounded components highlight the emphasis on craftsmanship, durability, and material honesty that characterizes Maison Regain's work. Both rustic and refined, these chairs embody a quiet modernism-balancing comfort, structure, and sculptural presence.
