Fabulous vintage Italian rope stand or side table. The table is made of metal that has been painted and a guilt gold. Under the gold, there's remnants of a dark red paint. Each of the legs are a twisted into the shape of rope, with the foot of each leg depicted as a tassel. In the center the rope twist to meet, and the top is a grate pattern.

17.25 inches tall by 15.5 inches in diameter

There is a small metal tag that hangs from the grate That reads made in Italy

There is loss of gold on each of the feet that goes about halfway to 3/4 of the way up the tassels. There is some loss of gold around the edges of the table and on the edges of the leg likely from you and handling
