Bring timeless elegance to your interior with this exceptional Ming-style horseshoe armchair (Quanyi). Crafted mid-to-late 20th century from a dense, premium Asian hardwood (high-grade Hongmu/Rosewood variants), this statement piece beautifully marries traditional Chinese design principles with functional artistry. It serves as a striking accent chair for a living room, study, or hallway.

The Crest Rail: Features the iconic, sweeping U-shaped horseshoe armrest that terminates gracefully in outward-turning hand-carved scrolls.

The curved rail is seamlessly constructed with tight, masterfully executed interlocking joints.

The Splat: The gently contoured S-curve back splat aligns naturally with the spine and showcases a beautifully carved, low-relief square medallion featuring a stylized traditional "Shou" (Shou) symbol, symbolizing longevity, good health, and prosperity.

The Seat & Underside: Features a spectacular, flush-fit solid wood panel set into a classic mitered frame. The panel boasts a striking, book-matched ribbon grain pattern with a deep, natural luster.

The underside confirms authentic, high-end bench craftsmanship, utilizing a traditional central structural brace and floating-panel construction that allows the wood to breathe naturally with humidity changes.

Zero Modern Fasteners: Built entirely using traditional, interlocking joinery. There are absolutely no modern metal L-brackets, pocket screws, or staples.

The Base: Supported by sturdy straight legs terminating in inward-turned horse-hoof feet, reinforced with clean, geometric aprons and structural stretchers.
