Abraham Munting (1626-1683) was a Dutch botanist and artist, and Professor of Botany and Chemistry at the University of Groningen, the Dutch Republic.

Each engraving is inscribed with the plant's name in Latin:

Rubus Non Spinosus Major Odoratus (Fol. 247)
