Description

A beautifully preserved polished wooden armchair in original green velvet fabric. Dating approximately from the mid-late 19th century and retaining the original bottom liner secured with hand-hammered nails.

Condition Notes: In exceptional condition for a piece of this age with the original upholstery in tact. Some surface scratches and other blemishes to the wood and fading and some pulling and small areas of pile loss to the velvet seat and back rest. See photos for further details.
