Reel in this original 19th-century chromolithograph-a richly detailed scientific plate featuring an array of freshwater fish, from sleek sardines and roach to a showstopping sturgeon. Pulled from a natural history text of the era, each species is numbered and rendered in bold chromolithographic color, showcasing the meticulous artistry of early zoological illustration.

Professionally framed behind glass with a deep merlot mat and rustic natural wood frame, this piece brings a refined yet relaxed charm-equally suited for a lakeside cabin, fisherman's den, or gallery wall with a story to tell. A rare catch for collectors of natural history, coastal decor, or antique academic prints.
