An early 20th century English mahogany pot cupboard nightstand of most pleasing form and character. The richly toned mahogany shows a lovely surface wear, the gentle marks of age that speak to years of use and care, lending a warmth and depth to the wood that only time can bestow.

The door is handsomely adorned with carved detailing, depicting a vase issuing forth a stylised flower-an elegant decorative motif that elevates the piece well beyond the purely functional. The door is finished with fine brass hardware, its mellow gleam a perfect complement to the mahogany's patina. The whole rests upon a sturdy plinth base, lending both solidity and grace to the design.

Hand selected in and imported from England, this nightstand embodies the charm and utility of early 20th century furniture-equally serviceable at the bedside or as an occasional piece, while offering the quiet beauty of craftsmanship and detail that delights upon closer inspection.
