Vintage black toned wooden stool with curved cabriole legs and spindle side rails. The cushioned seat features a traditional floral needlepoint tapestry, framed with gimp trim. Imported from the UK, this compact bench works well as a vanity stool, piano bench, or decorative accent. The gently curving cabriole legs and turned side spindles possibly echo late Georgian and early 19th-century English furniture, often revived in the mid-20th century for accent pieces like this. Vintage condition consistent with age as pictured.
