Description
This Sterling House maple highboy dresser, manufactured by Jamestown Sterling Corp. (Jamestown, NY), has been beautifully restored and finished in a rich cherry stain that highlights the natural grain of the solid wood. A lovely example of Early American craftsmanship, built to last and full of character.
It features four spacious drawers, each measuring approximately 27" W x 15" D x 8" H - perfect for clothing, linens, or everyday storage. The piece retains its original brass hardware, and inside the top drawer you'll find the original manufacturer's label. The back of the dresser still carries its factory inspection tag, along with a Robertson Furniture stamp (Lowell, MA) - a great detail for history lovers and collectors.
Traditional bracket-style feet and a warm, even tone across the surface make this piece versatile for both classic and modern interiors.

Our inventory includes both vintage and contemporary pieces, ranging from exceptionally well-preserved and near-new examples to vintage furnishings that reflect the natural character of age and previous use. We also offer quality pieces by makers that may not carry the name recognition or collectibility of top-tier designer brands, but that we believe stand out for their construction, materials, design, and overall value. Many of our vintage pieces remain in remarkably good condition, while others may exhibit variations in finish, patina, fading, surface wear, minor imperfections, and other signs of a previous life. We consider these characteristics part of the individuality and history that make vintage furniture so appealing. Photographs are provided as an important part of the condition description, and we encourage their careful review.
