An extraordinary vintage ceramic sculpture of a mother holding her child executed in an indigenous pre-Columbian Peruvian style. I have not been able to track down anything similar to this piece anywhere. Beautifully hand-painted with some visible faux crack lines. It is quite a striking piece of mid century era primitive art and will look absolutely amazing on a credenza, mantle, console/end table or dresser. Stunning piece.
