Description
At Turtle & Crane, we turn the past into stunning decor for today. This mid-century two-tier wrought iron table base is worked in a faux rope and tassel pattern, the iron softened by a chestnut patina that shows its age. It is sold as a base, without a top, so you can choose the glass or the stone that suits your room.
The base measures 29" wide, 17" deep, and 31" high, and its height has been modified from the original. The two tiers give it room for a lamp, a tray of cocktails, or a pair of potted plants. In the style of Billy Baldwin, Dorothy Draper, and Tony Duquette, it suits Hollywood Regency, Regency, and Chinoiserie rooms. It works as a console, a bar table, or a side table in a garden, on a patio, or indoors.
