A mid-century two-tier rattan etagere, newly painted in green with layered glazes and a fine fly speckle that give it an aged patina. At Turtle & Crane, we turn the past into stunning decor for today. The finish is hand finished in our Atelier. The maker is unknown.

The rattan frame measures 36.5" wide, 12.5" deep, and 28.5" high, a low, wide proportion that works as a console, a bookcase, or a display shelf. Each tier holds books, plants, or a collection. In the style of Dorothy Draper, the green rattan suits Chinoiserie, Palm Beach, and Hollywood Regency interiors.

Vintage pieces carry imperfections in the original and the newly applied finish. The finish is hand applied and varies from piece to piece, and mottling, brush texture, and variation in the glazing and fly speckle are part of the finish, not defects.
