An exceptional Victorian-era Meriden Britannia Co. silverplate garniture set featuring a monumental samovar or tea urn raised on an ornate stand, accompanied by a matching covered twin-handled sugar bowl and coordinating twin-handled decorative companion bowl. Together, the three pieces form a striking and highly decorative ensemble with remarkable presence.

Distinguished by beautifully executed classical profile medallions, ornate relief decoration, elegant proportions, and richly detailed engraved surfaces, this late 19th-century set exemplifies the quality and artistry for which Meriden Britannia Co. became renowned. The centerpiece samovar is elevated on an attractive stand with decorative feet and retains its original visual impact as a statement object for display.

Unlike many antique samovars encountered today, this example survives as a coordinated three-piece garniture ensemble, creating a dramatic presentation suitable for a sideboard, dining room, library, study, entry hall, or traditional estate-style interior.
