This bespoke Turtle and Crane masterpiece is a vibrant celebration of exotic glamour, meticulously reimagined in our atelier to bring a commanding presence to your home. Crafted originally by Metropolis, this vintage sculptural monkey lamp has been newly painted in a flawless, high-gloss white finish that dramatically highlights every intricate, whimsical detail of the figurative form. To crown this striking piece, we've paired it with a bespoke, hand-gilt red Empire Chinoiserie shade, creating an electric contrast that radiates bold, luxurious energy.
Perfect for the Maximalist collector or an opulent Palm Beach Regency living space, this lamp embodies the spirited, theatrical flair of Hollywood Regency design. It serves as a stunning homage to the legendary elegance of Dorothy Draper, Tony Duquette, and Vivai del Sud, effortlessly elevating any room it inhabits.
Whether anchoring a grand entryway console or illuminating a chic, layered study, this is not just lighting-it is jewelry for your home. True to our mission of Turning the Past into Stunning Decor for Today, this piece honors its late 20th-century origins while offering a completely refreshed, one-of-a-kind aesthetic.
