This striking French majolica fruit service by Sarreguemines dates to the early 20th century and is offered as a complete nine-piece set. The collection includes seven individual bowls, one generously sized serving bowl, and one platter-each richly modeled with abundant fruit and foliage in vibrant, high-gloss glazes.

Majolica fruit services like this were designed for the final course of the meal, when color, texture, and presentation took center stage. Think Riviera terraces, candlelit dining rooms, and tables dressed to impress. The sculptural relief and saturated palette give this set undeniable presence-equally suited for entertaining, display, or as a bold centerpiece.

Light wear and original factory blemishes are present, consistent with age and production. Each piece bears the Sarreguemines maker's mark on the reverse.
