A striking and highly decorative pair of mid-century modern sculptural wall panels featuring deeply carved male and female figures mounted against luminous capiz shell mosaic backgrounds. The figures are accented with natural capiz shell inlays that create a luminous mother-of-pearl effect, adding depth, texture, and light-reflective qualities to the carved surfaces.

Executed in richly toned hardwood, the elongated figures display elegant stylized forms, expressive poses, and refined modernist lines characteristic of mid-century decorative design. The sculptural carvings project prominently from their backgrounds, creating dramatic depth and shadow while showcasing the natural grain and warmth of the wood.

The figures are mounted against shimmering capiz shell mosaic grounds, creating a luminous effect as light moves across the surface. The iridescent shell backgrounds provide a beautiful contrast to the darker carved wood and lend the panels a sophisticated organic quality that complements a wide range of interiors.

Presented in matching wood frames, the panels make an impressive statement displayed together above a console, credenza, sofa, entryway table, or within a curated mid-century modern, organic modern, coastal, tropical, or Hollywood Regency interior.

A wonderful decorative pair offering strong visual impact, texture, and sculptural presence.
