Original period front cover from the August 1919 issue of The Ladies' Home Journal featuring a brilliantly colored blue-and-gold macaw perched on a tree branch, curiously eyeing a small red caterpillar. A vibrant palette of cobalt blue, teal, golden yellow, olive green, warm brown, and soft taupe is accented with touches of crimson, black, and ivory. This is an authentic vintage magazine cover, not a later reproduction. Cover illustration by Carton Moore-Park.

Presented with a vintage cream mat and sold unframed. The magazine cover measures approximately 14.5'' X 9.5'', and the overall mat measures approximately 18'' X 14''. This listing is for the front cover only. No interior magazine pages are included.
