Large 20" x 16" Johnson Brothers "The Friendly Village" Oval Serving PlatterMake a grand statement at your next holiday gathering with this massive, over-sized oval serving platter by Johnson Brothers in their timeless "The Friendly Village" pattern. Boasting impressive 20" x 16" dimensions, this is the largest serving piece produced for the collection-popularly known as the "Turkey Platter"-and is a foundational centerpiece for traditional holiday tables.

The platter features the iconic, nostalgically charming "Village Scene" complete with a country church, rustic stone-and-wood fencing, and snow-dusted houses nestled in a mountain valley. The multicolored central illustration is beautifully framed by a wide, scalloped, leaf-embossed rim showing a rich brown transferware border of stylized maple leaves and acorns.

Unlike delicate mid-century variants, this contemporary estate release features the updated backstamp certifying it as completely dishwasher, freezer, and microwave safe, making it incredibly durable and functional for modern entertaining and effortless cleanup.
