A refined and exceptionally rare period English Sheraton-style night table/basin stand, fully restored using period-appropriate materials and techniques.

The form, closely following Thomas Sheraton's Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer's Drawing Book (1793, Plate VII) features a thick rosewood veneered flip-top with circular and oval cutouts for basin and toiletry vessels, twin paneled cupboard doors below, and a pull-out drawer fitted with a gilt-tooled leather writing surface.

Restored and stabilized; all doors, hinges, and slides function properly. Major splits stabilized, but still evident Minor veneer and inlay repairs consistent with age and careful restoration. Historic woodworm damage resulting in previous repairs. Treated as a preventive measure.
