Detroit Metropolis Robot Maria by Billy Couch Acrylic on Canvas Painting

Description

Stunning painting of Machinenmensch (robot) Maria from Fritz Langs silent masterpiece film Metropolis . Painted by Detroit area artist Billy couch. The Maschinenmensch is a character in Fritz Lang's film Metropolis, brought to life by German actress Brigitte Helm as both the robot and human incarnation. Created by the scientist Rotwang.
