Acquired from the artist's estate.

A striking pair of modern figurative portrait paintings, rendered in a bold, expressive style reminiscent of early 20th-century European modernists. The elongated faces and stylized features evoke the influence of Modigliani, while the vibrant color fields and layered brushwork bring a distinctly contemporary energy.

Signed "George King" and attributed to a Vallejo, California artist, these works likely date to the late 20th century and were executed as a cohesive pair. When displayed together, they create a compelling visual dialogue-ideal for anchoring a living space, bedroom, or gallery wall.

Their painterly surfaces, nuanced palette, and strong graphic presence make them especially well-suited to mid-century, eclectic, or design-forward interiors.

Sold as a pair.
