Verigoud Raymond Savignac 1955 original on linen excellent original printing

The Verigoud poster by Raymond Savignac, created in 1955, is a playful and bold design advertising the lemon-based soft drink. Verigoud was a popular French sparkling beverage known for its refreshing citrus flavor, introduced in the 1950s as part of a growing market of carbonated drinks in France. The poster features Savignac's signature style, using bright yellow tones and minimalist imagery to evoke the drink's vibrant, energizing qualities. His simple yet effective design captured the fun and refreshing nature of the product, appealing to a wide audience. While Verigoud was known for its lively, lemony taste, it wasn't as widely remembered as other brands like Schweppes or Orangina, but the poster remains a sought-after collectible, reflecting the creative spirit of mid-20th-century French advertising.
