This striking Chinese red lacquered trunk features authentic round brass hardware and a traditional medallion lock that opens to reveal a beautifully cedar-lined interior. The rich red finish is enhanced with subtle antiqued black shading along the edges, creating depth and character while highlighting the natural wood grain.
Designed with classic side handles and reinforced brass corner mounts, this piece rests on a refined raised plinth base, giving it both visual presence and practical stability. The rectangular lift-top lid provides generous concealed storage, making it as functional as it is decorative.
With its warm patina and timeless Asian-inspired design, this versatile trunk works perfectly as a blanket chest, coffee table, entryway storage piece, or statement accent in a bedroom or living room. A unique blend of craftsmanship, style, and everyday utility.
