The Fourrures Canton Swiss poster is an original 1949 poster; and is not a reproduction. . The design is by French artist Charles Loupot and was originally created for the company in 1924. The stylized Art Deco image of a woman wrapped in a opulent ivory white fur coat, became an iconic image for Canton Furs, and was used for many years. Condition Notes: Very nice condition with beautiful bright colors. The paper has some creases and a minor scuff mark, that are slightly visible. There is a small missing piece of paper on the white border in the bottom lower right. This is not visible in the frame, which displays the poster charmingly. The frame has some minor chips and scuffs to the dark blue finish.
