Bold Blue Modern Painting on Canvas

Description

A bold and vibrant modern painting on raw hand stretched canvas by Virginia artist Roderick Coles. The mixed media "stilllife", titled "Tulip Magnolia from My Reading Desk", is a certain celebration of serene and relaxing Springtime endeavors. The loose and free pastel, gouache and charcoal mark making imparts a fetching Boho style to this work on canvas. Would be lovely and powerful above any style of chest or commode.
