A beautiful, original mid-century oil painting on board by artist Kenneth Askin. This landscape captures an autumn river scene, rendered in an impressionistic style with textured brushwork. The vibrant oranges and golds of the turning leaves contrast beautifully against the cool blues of the water. The painting remains in its original carved wooden frame and hanging wire is intact and ready for display. Perfect as an anchor piece for a gallery wall or accent for a bookshelf or mantel.

The vintage framing label on the back indicates it is a professionally gallery-framed piece from the mid-20th century.
